I should know, they destroyed mine.

It will SCREW. YOU. UP.

MY REVIEW

Hannah is your typical All-American girl. She gets good grades, she's determined to get into college to become a teacher and she's close with her parents. All that changes when she meets Edgar though.
Edgar is older than Hannah and a drug dealer. That should be a big flashing warning sign for her, right? She should leave him alone. But she finds herself intrigued by him, drawn to his danger and it ends up leading her down the rabbit hole of addiction.
One moment Hannah was the sweet girl her parents and best friend loved and the next she couldn't think of anything but getting another hit. McHeyzer shows how fast someone can become addicted to drugs, how they can go from being straight and narrow to craving nothing but their next hit and how they can affect anyone.
Addiction is not a romance. Addiction is rawreal and powerful. Hannah's story is not easy to read. It will make you uncomfortable and make you realize that Hannah could be anyone around you: the girl next door, your best friend, a classmate.
Addiction is gritty. It's not to be taken lightly and the author has done a great job at shining a light on the truth about drug addiction and how easy it can be to become addicted. Overall, Addiction is well worth the read. I really enjoyed the authors writing and I loved the epilogue.

AUTHOR BIO

NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLER OF UGLY AND MISTRUST.

**Write something worth reading**

I'm Margaret and I'm a self-published author.

Recently I was fortunate in obtaining New York Times best selling status on my YA/NA book - Ugly, and my YA book - Mistrust.

My last three books have been YA and I'm completely in love with the genre. I love being able to communicate with people through my words and stories.

My writing genres all differ, but the one thing I keep consistent is my heroines. All my female lead characters are strong, gutsy and not the 'perfect' woman. While my books all have romantic elements in them, they aren't just about the romance. They're about finding strength, acceptance and making life long connections.

I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I have while writing them.
