My Review
PREACH. is the the second book in the Church duet and cannot be read without reading Church beforehand.
Once again Fantôme takes readers on a hardcore mindtrip with the explosive conclusion of the Church duet. As soon as the book arrived on my Kindle, I dropped everything. I had waited too long for this moment - to find out what was next for Church and Emma after the way CHURCH had ended.
I didn't think Fantôme could screw with my mind any more than she already hard, but boy was I wrong! From the beginning Church is once again working things from behind the scenes, pulling his own set of strings and playing everyone as his puppets. Even so, Emma began to break out on her own and taking her own initiative to get what she wanted - even if I didn't always agree with her decisions.
She used me to feel loved. I used her to feel control.
Could anything ever be that perfect again?
I'm guessing no.
But I bet it could be better.
With just a wink here, and a nudge there, and we could be so much better.
The first book focused heavily on Church but this time both Emma and Church are working together which makes it even more fascinating now that they are both on the same page and working towards a common goal.
The pace of PREACH. is swift and unknown. As with the previous book, you don't know what is going to happen next and now that Emma is thinking for herself and trying to figure things out, she's pretty much a loose cannon with UNEXPECTED being her middle name.
PREACH. is intense, deceptive and dark and I loved every moment of it. A dark romantic thriller, if you are looking for a book with a fast pace and intriguing characters (Church's dad definitely shocked me - and intrigued me!) that will send you on a mind blowing spiral then this one is for you!

Crazy woman
from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a
necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about
right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see
shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm
clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.
