Dark Romance books are my guilty pleasure. Bethany-Kris books? Another! The Andino + Haven Series starts off with Duty, a Mafia Romance. If you've read Bethany-Kris books before you know if you want a good Mafia Romance that will suck you in, you go straight to her and with Duty that rings true.
Andino Marcello is next in line for the Mafia throne when he meets Haven. With instant chemistry, sparks fly immediately, but Andino has a duty to his family. Balancing loyalty and love, family and romance, Duty is the first part of Andino and Haven's story.
Told in multiple points of view, Duty is fast paced, action filled and steamy. With the intensity that lingers between Andino and Haven, it's hard to put this book down once you've started reading. Duty is yet another five star read from author Bethany-Kris' whose writing is expertly captivating.
Vow is the second part of Andino and Haven's story. Heartbreakingly seperated after an intense affair, Andino is ready for a fight. Remaining honorable to his family is hard when all he wants to do is win back Haven's love, but he's determined to have his happily ever after with her. With the perfect blend of action, suspense and romance, Kris' writing is once again excellent and on point with Vow. Her characters are complex, but Andino and Haven are two that you fall in love with over and over. The passion that exudes from this couple is steamy and explosive.
