Who is Jessica? ❤

   Jessica is a dreamer filled with wanderlust, seeking adventure within the pages of the books she has always loved. A lover of happily-ever-afters and mysteries that leave her on the edge of her seat, she's a hopeless romantic in love with the written word. She also has a pretty amazing kid.

Jessica first began blogging in 2013 after having her son. Her first blog was Bottles & Books Reviews. Since then she has grown as a mother, a person and a blogger. In December of 2016 she took a hiatus from blogging to focus on her other passion, Lust Bites Magazine. Lust Bites Magazine is a literary magazine that she co-founded with Author LeTeisha Newton in January of 2016 to help promote authors and help readers find new books. Since that time the magazine has grown. Now making her way back into the blogging world, Jessica is excited to read ALL THE BOOKS. An avid reader since childhood, Jessica can always be found nose buried in a book, whether it be a new release or a classic. A firm believer that curling up in bed with a good book can cure any broken heart or turn a bad day around, she's always believed in the power of the written word and the authors behind it which is why she began blogging. Since she wrote her first review in 2013, she's come to love and admire the written word so much more and the authors who make them come alive. Her belief in books is what made her idea for Lust Bites Magazine manifest from dream to reality and brought her back to her first passion, blogging. 

When it comes to books, she's diverse when it comes to genres. A lover of a page-turning suspense books, sizzling hot romances, dark romances that give your spine a tingle and women's contemporary fiction, she is always reading something different. She hates cliffhangers and refuses to read book one of a series unless the second one is out. She also cannot stand love triangles and cheating.

Jessica is a mother, a book reviewer, a magazine co-founder and a wanderer. A bohemian woman at heart, Jessica loves Mother Earth, natural products and walking barefoot through freshly cut grass. Her soul often wanderers to various places of the world, never content to stay in one place for long. Wanderlust often strikes her which leads to her needing to lose herself in a new book. Without being able to lose herself in new worlds that hide behind the covers, Jessica would forever be roaming the world in search of adventure.
